Barbara Eberhard is the producer and host of STORIES R Us. She taught photography at the University of St. Francis and was staff photographer at the Philip Lynch Theatre for over 30 years She was the director of the children’s theatre Eberhard and Friends. Joe Mallon is the Head Distance Coach for the girls track and field team at an inner city Catholic high school in the Chicago area. He is also a writer, the darker the better. The perfect ending? Everybody dies.
Joe Mallon attended North Central College in Naperville, IL, where he ran cross country and track. Any success he’s had in life is due to the love and caring he learned at this wonderful liberal arts college. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees.
Prior to his early retirement, Joe was a partner at one of the world’s largest multinationalaccounting and consulting firms, where he helped the world be safe for those who wanted to reduce their taxes by any means possible. Joe is a life-long South Sider. He grew up in Mount Greenwood across the street from the Grand Trunk Railroad Line, raised a family in Beverly, and now, an empty nester, lives in the South Loop. He has four wonderful children and a wonderful wife, all of whom he loves very much.

Betsey Milord recently moved back to her hometown of Joliet. By day, she is a Commercial Insurance Broker who loves playing the piano, acting and believes in the power of stories. Betsey has performed with many Chicago and south suburban storytelling groups.
