Barbara Eberhard is the producer and host of STORIES R Us. She taught photography at the University of St. Francis and was staff photographer at the Philip Lynch Theatre for over 30 years She was the director of the children’s theatre Eberhard and Friends. Born and raised in Chicago, Nancy spent most of her life in the greater Chicago area. She now hails from Wicklow, Ireland-the land of her ancestors. Nancy comes from a family of storytellers. She remembers gatherings at her grandmother's home were full of laughs and family fables. Nancy is a poet, singer/songwriter, storyteller and energy healer. She loves connecng with other senent beings, walking in the woods for inspiraon and following her family tradion of laughing oen.
Joe Mallon coaches boys track and field at Evergreen Park High School, his Alma Mater.He is also a writer, the darker the better. The perfect ending? Everybody dies.
Joe Mallon attended North Central College in Naperville, IL, where he ran cross country and track. Any success he’s had in life is due to the love and caring he learned at this wonderful liberal arts college. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees.
Prior to his early retirement, Joe was a partner at one of the world’s largest multinationalaccounting and consulting firms, where he helped the world be safe for those who wanted to reduce their taxes by any means possible. Joe is a life-long South Sider. He grew up in Mount Greenwood across the street from the Grand Trunk Railroad Line, raised a family in Beverly, and now, an empty nester, lives in the South Loop. He has four wonderful children and a wonderful wife, all of whom he loves very much.
Betsey Milord recently made her husband pack up some of their belongings and lug them to the East Coast so she could have a fancier job. She now splits her time between the bustling cities of New York and Chicago. She loves playing the piano, acting and she believes in the power of stories. Betsey has performed with many Chicago and East Coast storytelling groups.
